My take on the Xmcu
When I was younger I was really into the XMCU, I just got into comics, and didn't know much of the characters. I thought their movie take was their real personality, and backstories. Since then I have learned, and know now how bad they messed, and whitewashed their characters, ex. Pietro. Also how they treat the poc ones, ex. Darwin, and making Ororo lightskinned. I still find comfort in these movies, due to them bringing joy when I was in a bad place, but I do ackownledge the problems, and don't turn a blindside. I am saying this so people can know that you can like problematic media, while calling it out, you can do both. That being said, fuck Pietro in these movies, fuck dark phoenix.
